This main floor bathroom included a recently redone shower area that largely informed the design direction within the rest of the space. Additional inspiration was drawn from the utility aspect of the room to include a large wall-mounted cast iron sink and hexagonal tiles underscoring the Portland bungalow vintage of the house. The deep espresso bean glaze of the Japanese tiles - a splurge! - introduced modernity and a wow factor.
